These images were captured at the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math in Nabadwip Dham, the most sacred place on earth according to one of the main ancient Vedic scriptures, as it is the appearance place of Lord Chaitanya, Lord Krishna’s form as a benevolent devotee. This town is divided into nine (nava) islands (dwip) due to the holy river Ganges. Each year, innumerable local and foreign devotees gather to visit the different Temples and sites where Lord Chaitanya performed His activities, to hear about His teachings, to glorify Him through the chanting of His names, and to offer their time and dedication aspiring to develop love for Him.
